How to Get Lean Six Sigma Certified in Malaysia
To get Lean Six Sigma certified in Malaysia, choose your belt (Yellow, Green or Black), choose a training format, complete the course and its assessment, and, if you want a certificate from an international body, add a CSSC, PeopleCert IASSC or ILSSI exam. Step 3: Complete the training and assessment
Each course page says whether its fee includes the internal certification exam; the self-paced online courses end with a certification exam. Your certificate is issued by MBizM Sdn. Bhd., a training provider accredited by CSSC, PeopleCert IASSC and ILSSI.

- PeopleCert IASSC: MBizM Sdn. Bhd. is a PeopleCert Accredited Training Organization, registry ID 2198, for the IASSC Yellow, Green and Black Belt exams and their re-certification (certificate) and for the IASSC Lean Practitioner, Leader and Expert certifications (certificate). PeopleCert acquired IASSC, so the IASSC exams are now offered by PeopleCert.
- ILSSI: MBizM Sdn. Bhd. is an ILSSI Accredited Training Organization and Accredited Partner.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an external certification exam?
No. Your course leads to a certificate from MBizM Sdn. Bhd.; each course page says whether its fee includes the internal exam. An external CSSC, PeopleCert IASSC or ILSSI exam is optional and charged separately, for anyone who also wants a certificate issued by an international body.
Which exam body should I choose?
All three test the Lean Six Sigma body of knowledge for your belt. CSSC is open book with 3 attempts within 12 months and no expiry; PeopleCert IASSC is closed book with a certificate valid for 3 years; ILSSI is taken online with 1 free retake and no expiry. If your employer names a body, take that one. Compare the exams.
Is the training HRD Corp claimable?
Many of our instructor-led courses are HRD Corp claimable; each course page and the programmes comparison show the status. Whether your employer can claim depends on its own HRD Corp registration and levy.
Can I get certified fully online?
Yes. Each belt is offered as live virtual training and as self-paced online training, and the CSSC, PeopleCert IASSC and ILSSI exams are taken online.
Which belt should I start with?
Yellow Belt suits team members who support improvement projects, Green Belt suits people who lead or take part in improvement projects in their own area, and Black Belt suits people who lead medium to high impact projects.
