What are the PeopleCert IASSC Lean certification levels?
There are three: Certified Lean Practitioner (Level 1), Certified Lean Leader (Level 2) and Certified Lean Expert (Level 3). Six Sigma Malaysia runs a classroom course for each level, of 3, 6 and 8 days.
How much does PeopleCert IASSC Lean training cost?
Fees start from RM4,538 per person for Lean Practitioner. Each level and its fee is in the table on this page.
Is PeopleCert IASSC Lean training HRD Corp claimable?
Yes, all three courses are HRD Corp claimable. MBizM Sdn. Bhd. is a registered HRD Corp training provider. Whether your employer can claim depends on its own HRD Corp registration and levy, so check with your HR team before you register.
How does my employer claim the course fee from HRD Corp?
Your employer makes the claim, not the participant. A registered employer applies under the HRD Corp Claimable Courses (SBL-Khas) scheme through its e-TRiS account, attaching the course quotation or invoice, the trainer profile and the course schedule. Employers with outstanding levy are not eligible. Ask us for these documents for the course you choose.
How long is the certificate valid?
A PeopleCert IASSC certificate is valid for 3 years; a recertification exam is needed to keep it. Each exam voucher allows one attempt, so a retake needs a new voucher.
Is this the same as Lean Six Sigma certification?
No. These courses certify Lean only. For Lean Six Sigma belts, see the Yellow, Green and Black Belt pages; the certification page compares CSSC, PeopleCert IASSC and ILSSI exams.
