What the certification covers
Lean, which grew out of the Toyota Production System, is the application of Lean practices, principles and tools to reduce waste and improve process efficiency. At this level PeopleCert certifies advanced Lean expertise to lead organisational transformation, build a continuous improvement culture and deliver lasting gains.
Designing Lean transformation initiatives and aligning them with organisational strategy.
Engineering complex workflows with Kanban, SMED, heijunka and flow design.
Defining and interpreting KPIs and OEE to drive improvement.
Leading change, managing stakeholders and building a Lean culture.
Applying DMAIC, risk analysis and root cause tools to enterprise-level problems.
Integrating just-in-time, pull systems, TPM and visual controls.
Mentoring Lean leaders and practitioners to build internal capability.

The certification exam
PeopleCert IASSC Certified Lean Expert exam
Computer-based, web proctored or in a classroom, with a physical or online proctor. 110 multiple-choice questions, one mark each, in 3 hours (an extra 60 minutes for non-native speakers or candidates with a disability). Pass mark 70% (77 of 110). Closed book: only the Reference Document may be used. Valid for 3 years; a recertification exam keeps it valid.
MBizM Sdn. Bhd. is a PeopleCert Accredited Training Organization (ATO, ID 2198).
