What the certification covers
Lean, which grew out of the Toyota Production System, is the application of Lean practices, principles and tools to reduce waste and improve process efficiency. At this level PeopleCert certifies that you can implement, perform and apply the Lean methodology in your field.
Eliminating process waste
Identify waste and inefficiency to improve speed, lower costs and strengthen operational performance.
Core Lean tools
Apply tools such as 5S and visual management to standardise work and reduce errors.
Process flow improvement
Analyse workflows to remove bottlenecks, reduce delays and align operations with customer demand.
Structured problem solving
Use root cause analysis and Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) to address underlying causes.
Performance measurement
Set SMART goals, track KPIs and monitor results to sustain improvements.

The certification exam
PeopleCert IASSC Certified Lean Practitioner exam
Computer-based, web proctored or in a classroom, with a physical or online proctor. 50 multiple-choice questions, one mark each, in 1 hour (an extra 60 minutes for non-native speakers or candidates with a disability). Pass mark 70% (35 of 50). Closed book: only the Reference Document of formulas and tables may be used. Valid for 3 years; a recertification exam keeps it valid.
MBizM Sdn. Bhd. is a PeopleCert Accredited Training Organization (ATO, ID 2198).
