Is the Black Belt course HRD Corp claimable?
Yes for the instructor-led virtual, classroom, weekend classroom and Step Up to Black Belt courses; the self-paced online course is not. MBizM Sdn. Bhd. is a registered HRD Corp training provider. Whether your employer can claim depends on its own HRD Corp registration and levy, so check with your HR team before you register.
How does my employer claim the course fee from HRD Corp?
Your employer makes the claim, not the participant. A registered employer applies under the HRD Corp Claimable Courses (SBL-Khas) scheme through its e-TRiS account, attaching the course quotation or invoice, the trainer profile and the course schedule. Employers with outstanding levy are not eligible. Ask us for these documents for the course you choose.
How long does Black Belt training take?
Instructor-led virtual and classroom courses run for 8 days in two parts, about a month apart, so you can apply what you learn in between. The weekend classroom course runs the 8 days over four weekend sessions. Step Up to Black Belt is 4 days. Self-paced online learners have 12 months' access.
Do I need to take an external exam?
No, an external exam is optional. The instructor-led virtual and weekend classroom courses include the internal certification exam, and the classroom course includes internal certification by MBizM Sdn. Bhd. The self-paced online course ends with a certification exam after the five DMAIC phase tests.
