The course

Petaling Jaya, 11 September 2024. MBizM Sdn. Bhd. has completed its Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification course under the MSME Development Initiative of Program Latihan MADANI, the training programme run by HRD Corp. It was the first time MBizM delivered the course under PLM.

The 5-day face-to-face public course was held at the Acappella Suite Hotel, Shah Alam, in two sessions: 3 to 5 September and 10 to 11 September 2024. It was open to employees of micro, small and medium enterprises, and 25 employees from different industries took part.

What participants covered

The course was led by MBizM’s full-time certified trainers and covered the core Green Belt topics: process improvement, quality management and structured problem-solving. Alongside lectures, participants worked through workshops, group activities and case studies so they could relate the tools to their own organisations.

After the course, participants prepared to sit the CSSC (Council for Six Sigma Certification) examination, which awards the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification on passing.
