Use Six Sigma tools in your organisation, and with customers and suppliers, to achieve business improvement results.
Understand every part of the DMAIC model in line with Six Sigma principles.
Apply Lean enterprise concepts to identify non-value-adding elements and activities.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course content
A Green Belt can lead improvement projects in their own area and support larger projects run by Black Belts. The course follows DMAIC, with Lean tools for finding and removing waste. Classes run 9am to 5pm, over weekends.
Define and Measure
2 daysIntroduction to Six Sigma, cost of poor quality (COPQ), drill-down tree and Pareto chart, project charter, teams and stakeholder analysis, Voice of the Customer and the Kano model, SIPOC and basic process mapping, financial analysis and cost savings, root cause analysis tools, operational definition, data collection plan, basic statistics and sampling, capability analysis and sigma value, detailed process mapping, fishbone diagram and FMEA.
Analyse
2 daysHypothesis testing (type 1 and type 2 error, one-way ANOVA, degrees of freedom, general linear model, power and sample size, test of equal variance, 1 and 2 sample t-tests, 1 and 2 proportion tests, paired t-test, chi-square), statistical root cause analysis, advanced graphical analysis, sigma value and Z-bench, regression and correlation analysis, value stream mapping, and summarising potential factors and solutions.
Improve and Control
2 daysGenerating improvement ideas, evaluating and selecting the best solutions, solution and training implementation plan, pilot plan, Lean concepts and error proofing / Kaizen, cost and benefit analysis (ROI), process control plan, standard operating procedures, statistical process control, best practice replication, and process ownership and dashboards.

For anyone who wants to lead or support Lean Six Sigma improvement projects in their own area. How much does the Green Belt classroom, weekend classes course cost?
RM6,302 per person. Optional external certification exams are charged separately: CSSC RM988, PeopleCert IASSC RM1,854 and ILSSI RM795.
Is this course HRD Corp claimable?
Yes. MBizM Sdn. Bhd. is a registered HRD Corp training provider. Whether your employer can claim depends on its own HRD Corp registration and levy, so check with your HR team before you register.
When does the course run?
6 days across three weekends, 9am to 5pm, over weekends. Next intake: Dates on request. If the date does not suit, ask us about the next run or an in-house class for your team.
