Day 1
1 dayIntroduction to Six Sigma (why it matters, DMAIC and DMADV, history and adopters); what Six Sigma is (DMAIC in full, Voice of the Customer, developing project charters); the main players in a Six Sigma team (roles and responsibilities, selecting Black, Green and Yellow Belts, roadblocks to implementation, project team roles); roles, tools and deliverables in DMAIC. Workshop 1: project selection using fishbone diagrams, the Kano model and Pareto charts.
Day 2
1 dayProject continuity plan (reducing risk with FMEA, documentation, ownership, monitoring); critical success factors for project champions (the champion's influence, project training and coaching, tollgate reviews); Six Sigma project types (financial impact, hard and soft savings, what can go wrong, cost-benefit analysis). Workshop 2: KPIs, QFD and OEE in project selection.
