Statistical Analysis Tools in Six Sigma (SATSS) course content
3 days, classroom.
Day 1: continuous data tools
1 dayType 1 and type 2 error; degrees of freedom; power and sample size; 1-sample, 2-sample and paired t-tests; one-way and two-way ANOVA; test of equal variance.
Day 2: continuous data tools
1 dayCorrelation analysis; simple, multiple and best subset regression; general linear model (GLM); binary, ordinal and nominal logistic regression.
Day 3: attribute data tools and non-parametric tests
1 day1-proportion and 2-proportion tests; chi-square test; 1-sample Wilcoxon, Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests.
Also covered across the 3 days: hypothesis testing, sigma value and Z-bench, and graphical tools (Pareto charts, box plots, run charts, dot plots, scatter plots, matrix plots, histograms and time series plots).
