Common questions about Lean Six Sigma training
How much does Lean Six Sigma training cost in Malaysia?
At Six Sigma Malaysia, Yellow Belt courses start from RM1,450, Green Belt from RM3,788 and Black Belt from RM5,088, depending on the format you choose. Each belt page lists every format and fee. External certification exams are optional and charged separately.
Which Lean Six Sigma belt should I start with?
Start with Yellow Belt if you will support improvement projects as a team member, and Green Belt if you will lead projects in your own area. You do not need a Green Belt before Black Belt: the 8-day Black Belt courses cover the full DMAIC syllabus from the start, and certified Green Belts can take the 4-day Step Up course instead.
Are the courses HRD Corp claimable?
11 of our 15 Yellow, Green and Black Belt courses are HRD Corp claimable; the Yellow Belt 4-morning online, Yellow Belt self-paced online, Green Belt self-paced online and Black Belt self-paced online courses are not. MBizM Sdn. Bhd. is a registered HRD Corp training provider. Whether your employer can claim depends on its own HRD Corp registration and levy, so check with your HR team before you register.
How does my employer claim the course fee from HRD Corp?
Your employer makes the claim, not the participant. A registered employer applies under the HRD Corp Claimable Courses (SBL-Khas) scheme through its e-TRiS account, attaching the course quotation or invoice, the trainer profile and the course schedule. Employers with outstanding levy are not eligible. Ask us for these documents for the course you choose.
What is the difference between classroom, live virtual and self-paced online training?
Classroom courses are held in Petaling Jaya or a Klang Valley hotel with a trainer in the room. Instructor-led virtual courses are live online classes with a trainer, 9am to 5pm. Self-paced online courses are narrated eLearning modules with 12 months' access, so you can start any day and study around work.
Which external certification exam should I choose: CSSC, PeopleCert IASSC or ILSSI?
All three are optional, charged separately and available at Yellow, Green and Black Belt. ILSSI certificates have no expiry and include one free retake. PeopleCert IASSC certificates are valid for 3 years, and each exam voucher covers one attempt. CSSC exams are open book and taken online. The certification page compares fees, pass marks, attempts and validity side by side.
Can you run Lean Six Sigma training in-house for our company?
